TRACTOR TRAILER DRIVER JOB DESCRIPTION
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- U.S. Citizen or possess proper documents to work in U.S.
- Possess a valid PA Driver’s License with upgrade to CDL A.
- Attained age of 21, or older to cross state lines, otherwise minimum age is 18..
- Possess GED or High School Diploma minimum or equivalent experience.
- Must pass Criminal and Driving Background Investigations
PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT & DRUG SCREEN:
Must possess a current DOT physical assessment card; and a drug screen will be scheduled by management prior to employment.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Tractor Trailer Drivers are responsible for the safe, accurate, on-time pick-up/delivery of scrap metals and recyclables from large, high volume customers as well as from other commercial customers while operating various tractor trailer combination vehicles, (box van, flat bed or dump trailers). Other cargo may be assigned as available and/or necessary.
